One Electric Day
The enthusiasm in our community to create Australia’s first electric suburb right here in 2515 was on display on June 22, with over 600 people turning out to Go Electric Open Day to hear talks on the energy transition, meet tradies and experts, and see the latest range of EVs and e-motorbikes.
We want to give a special thank you to everyone who contributed their time and passion to bring this event to life — our amazing speakers, dedicated volunteers, generous EV owners, and committed exhibitors. And of course, we’re deeply grateful to Club Thirroul, Wollongong City Council, and the wonderful local businesses that donated prizes and gave their time to help make the event such a success.
