Key date: Accept quotes by Sept 30
With applications now officially closed, the Electrify 2515 Community Pilot has seen an overwhelming response. Over 930 homes from 2515 and Bulli have applied to upgrade more than 1000 gas appliances to electric - a collective effort that promises to significantly reduce our community’s carbon footprint.
While the team is still collating energy data to measure the project's impact, the work is far from over for those who have already applied.
If you are still in the process of finalising your quotes, please remember you have until September 30 to accept them and submit your subsidy application through the Brighte online portal.
For anyone needing guidance or support, the team is available at the Thirroul Community Centre every Friday to assist you, or on our local phone number (02) 4216 6032.
Even if you are already all-electric, you can contribute to this groundbreaking research. By sharing your energy data, you help the pilot team compare experiences and see the real-world benefits of the transition. All-electric participants can receive a free smart energy device to monitor their usage in real time and show our community impact. To get involved, go to electrify2515.org/apply to express your interest.
