Electrifying Bulli - FAQ
The Electrify 2515 Community Pilot is expanding to Bulli, offering the opportunity to more homeowners to make the shift to all-electric living with the help of financial subsidies and support as part of the community-led research project.

Why expand to Bulli now?
The expansion is possible due to a reallocation of pilot subsidies—prompted by the introduction of federal rebates for home batteries—to focus on getting more homes off gas. This allows us to invite more households to participate.
Bulli was specifically selected because it shares a substation with the 2515 area. This connection is essential for the research team to accurately measure the impact of neighbourhood-wide electrification on the grid.
Where is the pilot up to?
Over 100 households have already completed their upgrades, and hundreds more are currently in the process of getting quotes.
High demand for home batteries has led to delays with installer availability, causing things to move slower than originally anticipated. However, we have recently onboarded more installers and expanded our customer support team to speed up the process and meet pilot research timelines.
The first group of participants are already saving money on their energy bills. Meet some of the householders that have already electrified on our blog.

Can Bulli residents apply now?
Yes! Fill in an application via electrify2515.org/apply We will start sending offers out after the official launch on 26 Feb.
Can people in 2515 still apply?
Yes. Residents in the 2515 postcode can still apply alongside Bulli residents. But get in quick - places are limited and the pilot installs are due to wind up towards the end of the year.
